From Friday 29 April to Sunday 1 May, we celebrate the opening of our spectacular new home at Pier 2/3 with a full weekend of thrilling live concerts, boundary-pushing collaborations, stimulating talks, family concerts, free events and more.
And you don’t have to be there in person to join us for the ACO Opening Festival at Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. We’ll be streaming three of our concerts live on Facebook and YouTube, in full – the Opening Celebration featuring Jimmy Barnes and William Barton, and our two Music in Time Part concerts, where we explore the most sublime, beloved and glorious music, from the Renaissance to present day. We’ll also be curating a free digital festival across social media for the duration of the weekend, featuring behind-the-scenes access to our new home and to our performers.
