Our Venues

The Neilson

Our largest performance space that seats up to 275 people, with a flexible design engineered for classical, acoustic and amplified music. Named after our generous supporter Kerr Neilson and his family, our ACO Up Close recitals, family shows and talks are all presented in this intimate venue.

Belgiorno Room
A unique events space, complete with a commercial finishing kitchen and adjoining private balcony – flooded with light and with spectacular views of the water, harbour and bridge from its prime location at the harbour end of Pier 2/3. The Belgiorno Room is where we host pre- and post-performance functions and it’s also available for corporate and community hire.

The Studio
A flexible space for performances, rehearsals, workshops, recordings, masterclasses, talks and presentations with a glass wall for students and audiences to observe musicians and for musicians to enjoy views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Deliveries

Please note that for deliveries, vehicle access is controlled, with entry to Pier 2/3 occurring through a boom gate with intercom off Hickson Road on the eastern side of the Pier. All vehicle access needs to be booked in advance with the ACO. There is no parking permitted on the Pier aprons.
