ACO Collective
ACO Collective combines the professional musicians of the ACO with Australia’s most talented emerging string players. The result is an ensemble full of youthful energy with the dynamism and artistry for which the ACO is renowned.
ACO Collective is our acclaimed ensemble comprised of Emerging Artists and their ACO mentors.
In May, ACO Collective will present a showcase of classic chamber music at UKARIA Cultural Centre, including a selection of string quartets and quintets, by Schumann, Shostakovich and Jakub Jankowski, among others.
About the ACO Emerging Artist Program
In 2025 we celebrate 20 years of our flagship talent development program.
The ACO Emerging Artist Program was founded in 2005 to support young musicians in building their professional music careers. In the program, Emerging Artists are partnered with musicians from the ACO for intensive learning, one-to-one mentorship and professional performance opportunities. We are incredibly proud of the program and its participants, many of whom now play in orchestras around the world, including the ACO.
